APPROACH

A company which had previously mandated Accellency to reposition its equity story was preparing for an IPO. Building on the new equity story work, Accellency was retained before, during and after the IPO process to ensure that the new equity story positioning was properly reflected in the investor presentation, information memorandum and other documentation. Accellency worked with the bankers, current shareholders and other advisors throughout the IPO as well as providing scripting and coaching to prepare teams for the management roadshow.

RESULTS

The company successfully executed its IPO in the context of quiet equity capital market conditions, becoming one of Europe’s largest IPOs for several years. The financial marketing materials used during the IPO process remained consistent with the equity story positioning, enabling the management team to deliver a clear message setting out their vision and prospects to investors. The IPO was priced at a good valuation and performed well at listing. The issuance contained a significant primary component, allowing the company to invest in its growth plans.
