APPROACH
A listed company was preparing for a capital markets day, during which it planned to announce a new strategic and financial outlook. To ensure that this plan addressed the main requirements of the investment community, the company mandated Accellency to conduct a perception survey of market views. Accellency spoke to a selection of sell-side analysts as well as existing, former and potential shareholders to establish a broad picture of the market’s view on the company’s strategy, financials, operations and stock price. This was formalised in a concise document and subsequently presented to the Board.
RESULTS
The conclusions of the perception survey helped the company to structure its capital markets day and presentations around the key demands of the investment community. This enabled the company to produce the figures and KPIs necessary to give analysts and investors the metrics they needed to build confidence in the company’s business plan. The share price responded positively to the strategic announcements and capital markets day.
