Women in big data

For International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2021, Alexandra Prigent-Labeis, Managing Partner of Accellency, was invited to speak on the leadership panel of Women in Big Data (WiBD). WiBD aims to promote diversity in the tech industry and more specifically in big data. Alexandra spoke alongside Sebastien Gibier, Director of SAP.iO, Mihir Sarkar, PhD MIT, Head of Data ENGIE Digital and Rutie Adar, Head of Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center Samsung Electronics.

In addition to offering a stimulating and inspirational discussion, this digital event connected and brought together communities of tech female founders, tech investors and corporate resources from sponsors of Women in Big Data.

Women in Big Data is a non-profit organisation with the mission to champion the success of women in the big data and analytics field. With its community of over 17,000 members, this organisation cultivates tangible opportunities, unlocks latent potential, acts as a catalyst for advancement and empowers equity allies of any gender with inclusive mentorship programming.
Women in Big Data believes that broader diversity among leaders and practitioners will improve the use and function of big data, ensuring a future that’s better for all of us.
